The late Sr. Antonina Musula was born on 22nd November 1956 to the late Mzee Harun Lianguluti and the late Mama Elima Endoshi from Shiveye sub– location in Kakamenga County.

The late Sr. Antonina was the 5th born in their family, she was sister to Consolata Luhava, Late Ema Ilamwenya, Late Alice Masitsa, Joseph Amulavu, Late Jackson Munyeti, John Ngayira, Late Dismas Itambo, Kizito Shivayiru and Margaret Muchisa.

HER CHRISTIAN FAITH.
The late Sr. Antonina was brought up in a Catholic family where she was baptized as an adult at Tindinyo Parish on 1st January 1972 and received her Sacrament of Confirmation on 4th March 1973.

EDUCATION
The late Sr. Antonina joined Shiveye Primary School in 1965 from Class 1-3. In 1968 she joined Chesonoi Primary School classes 4-6.
1n 1971 she joined the congregation of FSJ as aspirant and continued with her primary education in Rangenyo primary school.
In 1985 she sat for her F4 exam in St. Joseph Chepterit Secondary school.
In 1986-1988 she joined Asumbi Teachers College where she trained as P1 teacher.
In the year 2004, she went for sabbatical Program in U.K -Hawkstoke Hal where she studied pastoral Counselling.

RELIGIOUS LIFE
The late Sr. Antonina joined the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph and was admitted to aspirancy on 8th January 1973, to Postulancy on 2nd May1975 and to Novitiate in 1977. She took her first Vows on 1st December 1979, perpetual vows on 2nd May 1987 and Silver Jubilee in 2004.

OUTSTANDING QUALITIES
Sister Antonina was faithful to her religious life and she was keen with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, Liturgy of the hours and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. She was devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary and loved reciting the Rosary.
Sr. Antonina was a lovely person, smart and neat, understanding and honest and truthful, Mentor, organizer and planner, good manager, loved sisters and their families and attended all their funerals, disciplinarian, just in her ruling, persevering in sickness and sorrow, great celebrant.
She was hardworking, committed and dedicated to her ministry. . She was patient and persevered even in illness and suffering.

SICKNESS
Sr. Antonina enjoyed good health most of her life. However, at the beginning of March 2021, she felt a bit unwell and received first Aid treatment at the local pharmacy in Hambale with a Doctors consolation. She felt better and reported to St. Francis Spiritual Centre for her annual retreat on 23rd March 2021.

In the evening of reporting, she experienced a change in her health condition. At 1:45am she was rushed to Christamarianne Mission Hospital where she was admitted with very high blood pressure, epigastric pains, cough and pneumonia. The chest X-ray was done and showed heart enlargement.

She was immediately started on appropriate treatment and by the next morning reported experiencing signs of improvement. She was calm, stable and happy.
On 25th March, 2021 at 5:30pm, her condition changed. Her blood pressure shot up and efforts to lower it failed. She was rushed to an ICU facility but succumbed on arrival.
Sr. Antonina Musula,  FSJ passed on, at 6:40pm on 25th March, 2021. Eternal Rest Grant Unto Her Lord.
